Terms of Service

Senioritis is a digital scrapbook, memory wall, and time capsule platform made available directly to high school seniors and senior class committees. Senioritis acts strictly as an online intermediary hosting service for user-generated content (UGC) uploaded by students and their classmates.

Senioritis is not an educational institution, school board, or law enforcement entity. We do not endorse or pre-screen all individual student submissions prior to publication, but provide rapid moderation tools and notice-and-takedown mechanisms to enforce safety.

In accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 34/2021 on Combatting Cybercrimes, all users must strictly abide by community decency rules. You agree that you will NOT:

• Publish Non-Consensual Media (Article 44): You may not upload photographs or recordings of any student, teacher, or individual without their knowledge and consent.
• Engage in Cyberbullying or Harassment: Do not post malicious rumors, targeted insults, hate speech, or defamatory statements about classmates or staff.
• Upload Explicit or Inappropriate Content: Adult media, sexually explicit material, depictions of violence, or drug/illegal substance use are strictly prohibited.
• Impersonation or Account Hijacking: Do not claim or pretend to be another student. Passcodes and verification emails are personal to you.

You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all photographs, captions, and stories you upload to Senioritis. We do not claim ownership of your photos.

By uploading content, you grant Senioritis a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license solely to host, display, compress, and render your content within your private class capsule and for authorized classmate downloads (such as end-of-year class archives).

If you appear in a photograph or post on Senioritis that you wish to have removed for privacy, copyright, or personal comfort:

• Use the in-app Report / Flag button on any photo or note.
• Or email our safety team directly at support@senioritis.app with the class link.

Under our privacy policy and intermediary safe-harbor commitments, takedown requests from featured individuals are honored promptly.

The platform is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Senioritis disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable UAE law, Senioritis, its founders, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from user-generated content uploaded by students, unauthorized account access, or service interruptions.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
